January - I got the pictures developed from our skiing trip. Check them out in Scrap Book II page 5. Page 5 ends
2002. There is also a picture of Hunter, myself, and Saint Nick. I am working on a starting a special project with Kids
With A Cause. It is taking up most of my spare time. As soon as it is approved, I will be asking everyone for help. I am
so excited about it. It is a great opportunity to help other children out. Zip! That's all I can say for now. I was a
presenter at the OMNI AWARDS. It was a grand night of entertainment. I did work on Port Charles a few weeks in
January. My favorite Lizzie show is airing, Lizzie's Eleven. It is such a slick show. I have seven more to air. Keep
watching.
February - My special project has been approved! Okay, Now I need help. It's called Kids With A Cause - PROJECT:
SNUGGLE -UP. Last month, I learned about the thousands of children across America that are taken from their home
due to abandonment, neglect and/or abuse. Many of these children go to bed at night without a personal item to
snuggle. I want to make these children feel better. I want to make them all cozy blankets, and write a personal note
telling them how much I care. I want children to care about other children. I would like kids and adults to help me
make these blankets. Check out PROJECT:SNUGGLE-UP to see what I am doing to help these kids. See how easy it
is for you to help too.
March - We already have 90 blankets for KWAC (Kids With A Cause) Project: SNUGGLE-UP! How great is that! Go to
Snuggle-Up to get more information. I did some looping for The Lizzie McGuire Movie this week. The movie looks
FABO. The fans are going to love it. Also the Oscars are coming up and Kids With A Cause is having an Oscar party
two blocks down from The Kodak Theater. If you want to come to the party go to www.Kidswithacause.org to purchase
tickets. If you like to camp and play in the water, mark your calendar for May 9, 10, and 11. Kids With a Cause is going
whitewater rafting and camping up in Three Rivers, California. I am going again because last year was totally
adventurous. Save your spot at the KWAC website.
April - Oh my goodness, I went to the premiere of The Lizzie McGuire Movie. It was so unbelievable. The movie totally
rocks!! I think everyone is going to love it. The movie has the most beautiful scenery of Italy. The movie comes out
May 2nd. Don't miss it! Spring break was relaxing because we went to the beach camping. Only 43 days until school
is out, and then I am going home to Indiana for a month. WOOO-HOO!!!! In May our family is going white-water rafting.
I am up to 120 blankets.
May - New Pictures of the TLMM -The Lizzie McGuire Movie-Premier check them out. And more to come. The first week
of May started with a BANG! TLMM made 17 million opening weekend. KWAC (Kids with a cause) Project Snuggle-up
is reporting about 300 plus blankets are arriving. A huge thank you to those most thoughtful and generous people. I
was simply thrilled and stunned. Also, it’s not too late to go camping and white-water rafting this weekend. Sign up at
KWAC site. I just got a look at the schedule. May 9, 10, & 11 White-water rafting, May 17 Universal Studio, May 24
Strawberry festival, June 7 or 8 California Adventure & Disneyland, and June 18 Home to Indiana for a month.
June - I just booked a movie. I am a lead..Yahooo! And my leading guy is Rory Culkin. I leave in a few days to go to
Indiana for a brief visit, then we fly straight to Portland Oregon to begin filming until the end of August. Okay, that's my
summer vacation. So everyone have a great summer. PS. My mom and I are working hard to finish all the present day
fan mail before we leave. We hope to finish it up by next Monday. (Fat chance) Thanks for all the cards and letters. It is
amazing and at times overwhelming the amount mail I receive, but I do my best to respond once to everyone.
July - I am in Portland Oregon working on a movie. I'll be back late August. So if you see me in Portland say hey!
August - Just got back from Oregon/Washington from filming "Mean Creek". It's a story about revenge and how an
innocent prank can turn deadly with the snap of your fingers. I worked with a bunch of great people from LA., New York,
Chicago, and Oregon. I will post some pictures real soon. I made some great life-long friends like Kori and Ryan
Kelley and Trevor Morgan (which says he is going to marry me when he is 30.) We worked extremely hard on Mean
Creek, but we also hung out and went to a lot of movies together. Mean Creek is about a day in the life of six kids, and I
was the only girl. I learned more about how boys think and talk than I ever wanted to know. The huge bonus, this
summer, was working without schooling!
September - I just started a new school and, I love it! The kids are cool and my teachers are great. This is going to be
my best year ever. I am planning my 13th birthday party bash. I am finally going to be a teenager in October. WOOO
HOOO! I am debating on the theme of the party. Rollerbash or Hawaiian beach party.
October - Okay, I am now officially a thirteen year old! Look out world. I had the best party with some of my friends.
Over one hundred kids rocking out on Saturday night. Check out the pictures from the ROLLERBASH, on page 5 of
Scrap Book II. I have to say I am so lucky because at the beginning of this school year the kids were really REALLY
nice to me and made me feel welcome. What a blessing. I really like my school because my new friends are totally
awesome. We talk very little about the movie business and just hang out and be teenagers. We hang with some guy
friends that look out for me, and I think that is very cool. Every weekend there has been either birthday parties or
dances to go to, so my social calendar has been rocking!!!!
November - Thank you to everyone that came an built a bear.....540 bears were built and sent out THANKS!!! I will be
at the OAKS MALL this Saturday (NOVEMBER 8th) in Thousand Oaks, CA. My brother and I will be first in line at BUILD
A BEAR. We will be making bears to send to the kids that lost their homes to the resent California Wildfires. So if you
want to help out and make a bear.... we will see you on the 8th. NEWS FLASH - I just saw the first cut of MEAN
CREEK...I am very impressed with all the actors. I am thrilled that I was part of this movie. It is definitely for a mature
audience.....13 and above. My boy friend and I are 13 but the rest of the actors play 16 - 23. I was asked today to be in
the Hollywood Parade on November 30th. But we can't attend. The IMDB is a great place to check out. It tells you about
actors and movies. 11/01/03-I was invited to see the first cut of MEAN CREEK. I am very excited. I miss being in
Oregon and hanging with the fellas. What a great group of guys.
December - 12/01/03 I am wild out of my mind excited. I just found out that the movie I did this summer, MEAN
CREEK, is going to Sundance. I will be going to the Sundance festival January 17th thru 24th. Oh what great fun this
trip will be with all my pals. And hopefully a few days of skiing in too.
I hope to have some new pictures up soon. Okay -for all of you that try out for parts and don't get them don't feel bad. I
just went to a network testing for a series. In the end, I didn't get the part, and I was bummed. They said I was too
poised. Well, I went to bed at 6:00 and woke up the next day at 7:00. I was refreshed and ready to move on to the next
project. Don't ever give up because there might be something great around the corner. I believe I am going to a
luncheon next week to listen to Condoleezza Rice. I am sure all of you know that she is the Assistant to the President
for National Security Affairs. My fingers are crossed in hopes we can get tickets. In January, I begin guitar lesson and
fencing classes. I have waited 4 years to take fencing classes. I think that is going to be the bomb.
